About DCX Political

Who We Are

DCX Political exists to report on Washington and the world without apology and without interference. Founded on the principle that political journalism serves the public first, this outlet covers federal policy, government accountability, congressional action, and the international events that shape domestic life. We do not operate under a corporate umbrella, accept sponsored editorial content, or align ourselves with any political party, PAC, or advocacy organization. Our only obligation is accuracy.

The reporting and analysis published here draws on primary sources — official records, legislative filings, agency documents, and direct interviews — supplemented by context drawn from decades of policy history. When something is confirmed, we say so. When it is alleged, we say that too. The distinction matters, and we hold to it consistently. Opinion and analysis are clearly labeled; straight news coverage carries no editorial slant.

Independent journalism of this kind is not comfortable for the people and institutions it scrutinizes. It is not designed to be. Transparency in government depends on persistent, unglamorous scrutiny: tracking appropriations bills, attending committee hearings, parsing regulatory filings, and asking the questions that more accommodating outlets skip. That is the work DCX Political is built to do.

We welcome reader corrections, tips, and feedback. If we get something wrong, we fix it publicly and note the change. If you have information that bears on the public interest, we want to hear from you. The contact page lists the appropriate channels. This publication is accountable to its readers, not to its advertisers.
