The cutthroat leader of Qatar, who is a friend of the Obama family, funded the Arab Spring Uprising and is directly responsible, along with numerous world leaders including and especially Barack Obama, of creating and funding the radical Islamic terror group ISIS. This man's wealth is in oil. Billions of dollars worth of oil. Still wonder why Obama won't sign the Keystone Pipeline agreement?

According to an article by UPI the tiny Islam nation of Qatar, led by emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani – who shafted his own father during a bloodless coup in the 90’s to gain power there, is asking The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency to lobby congress for more than $400 million dollars worth of rocket and missile systems.

The proposed $406 million Foreign Military Sales deal would include 7- M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System launchers, 60- M57 Army Tactical Missile System Block 1A T2K Unitary Rockets, 360- M31A1 Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System Unitary Rockets and 180- M28A2 Reduced Range Practice Rockets – as well as other various goodie bag type items.

Unfortunately the U.S.D.S.C.A. is obliging the emir – sending a recommendation to congress which states:

“The proposed sale will improve Qatar’s capability to meet current and future threats and provide greater security for its critical infrastructure. It will also enhance Qatar’s interoperability with the U.S. and its allies, making it a more valuable partner in an increasingly important area of the world.”

If you aren’t yet familiar with the the tiny, energy-rich Gulf state of Qatar don’t feel bad, many others aren’t either. While the rest of the middle east thrives on daily violence, name calling and being in the international spotlight –  Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani is satisfied to remain in the shadows and orchestra the drama. The emir  is a well known bed partner of Hamas in Palestine and is believed to be one of the main financier’s of the Arab Spring revolts that toppled four dictators. The emir is also a regular contributor to the Syrian rebels.  But while the emir enjoys financing revolts, he himself was recently scolded by human rights groups worldwide after a local poet was jailed for life after criticizing Al Thani and “inciting revolt.”

While being content to remain in the soft shadows of the Arab Spring and it’s promotion of Sharia Law, Qatar’s emir isn’t shy about disclosing his love affair with the terror sponsoring group Hamas.  The revolt in Egypt, which was financed in large part by Qatar and it’s hypocritical “king” – resulted in the crowning of The Muslim Brotherhood in that war torn country – the same Muslim Brotherhood which is represented in Palestine by it’s Charter there – Hamas. Speaking with Al Jazeera in late 2011 emir Al Thani voiced his support for Hamas led Palestine after a 2008 severing of ties with Israel:

“We support the Palestinian people of Gaza, whom Israel does not like. But Israel now considers that the establishment of a Palestinian state is more dangerous than Hamas.”
Israeli  foreign ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor expressed his countries anger with Qatar over the emirate’s growing ties with Gaza’s rulers:
“We are angry with Qatar because it supports Hamas.”

Israel is also angry with Qatar over the legal and political support it has been providing to the Palestinian leadership in its bid for UN membership.

This rocket deal with Qatar,  however,  certainly won’t register as the first such deal with a hoodlum led/terror sponsoring middle eastern government and the Obama administration. The U.S. is expected to send heavy iron armaments to Egypt in the first quarter of 2013, including 10 F16 jet fighters and 200 Abrams tanks valued at over $200 million dollars, and as always, will be sending our regular 1.5 Billion dollar contribution to that countries continued Sharia Law public policy. The jets/tanks deal was passed by congress prior to the ousting of former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak(who had banned the muslim brotherhood and all other terrorist cells) – but it could be nullified by one person – Barack Obama. Don’t hold your breath though – remember it was Obama who lent his political clout to The Muslim Brotherhood by recognizing that radical Islamic political group prior to their election to power in Egypt, a move many consider the tipping point of a very close Egyptian election.

In April of 2012 the Obama Administration also overrode congressional law and sent Hamas led Palestine $147 million dollars, which is common knowledge to those who keep up with foreign affairs, but what’s not so evident is that he also removed all spending restrictions on that money, which has typically been given on the condition that it’s used for humanitarian and social uplift policies. Lifting the restrictions fully allows the Palestinians to use the funds to continue buying weapons to terrorize their Israeli neighbors.

Al Thani & Obama

If President Obama has any say in the matter look for this military weapons sale to Islamic Qatar to be approved. Obama is one of  emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani’s biggest fans, stating in April of 2011 that  the international coalition in Libya Egypt and Tunisia would have been impossible if not for the emir’s leadership. On September 11 of last year, the anniversary of the deadly attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, Obama spent part of his day heaping praise on the emir of Qatar in a video to the Arab Forum on Asset Recovery, seemingly oblivious to the importance and solemnity of the day, as well as the context of his message. Referring to Al Thani as “His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani” Obama makes no mention of 9/11, the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood, or the role of Qatar-based Al Jazeera in broadcasting radical anti-American propaganda. You can watch that entire video here.

If the picture I’ve painted here, which admittedly contains but a few examples out of a myriad of possible supporting arguments, doesn’t persuade you to at least consider the possibility that The United States government is supporting the scourge of  radical Islam and Sharia Law word wide, then I’m at a loss as to what would. The “good ole boy network” the Obama administration has developed in regards to middle eastern affairs consisting of every radical Islamic lunatic the world has to offer is alarming, to say the very least, and is devastatingly detrimental to our friends in Israel, who are growing more weary in the face of an every changing world filled with, and filling with,  those who would see them wiped from the face of the earth.
