Three major U.S. Cities have now vowed to block efforts to open, and in some cases halt existing construction, of Chick-Fil-A restaurants following the company presidents remarks implying that his company supports the traditional definition of marriage and warned that redefining marriage might bring God’s judgment upon the nation. Dan Cathy has stuck to his story and holds that he nor Chick-Fil-A are apologetic. While Cathy’s statements didn’t include the word gay, the leftist’s in charge of Chicago had no trouble drawing the conclusion that Cathy was implying gay marriage was inferior to marriage between a man and a woman.
When asked if there is truth to what’s being said Cathy replied:
“Guilty as charged. We are very much supportive of the family – the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that. I think we are inviting God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at him and say, ‘We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage. I pray God’s mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we would have the audacity to try to redefine what marriage is all about.”
On Friday, Mayor Thomas M. Menino of Boston sent a letter telling Mr. Cathy that his company was not welcome there. The Jim Henson Company, which created toys for the chain, will not offer any more Muppets. On Friday, Lisa Henson, the CEO, said she supported same-sex marriage and would donate money that the company had received from Chick-fil-A to the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.
In a Chicago Tribune statement, Rham Emanuel, former White House Chief of Staff for president Barack Obama, spewed:
“Chick-fil-A values are not Chicago values. They disrespect our fellow neighbors and residents.”
Emanuel, the 55th mayor of the windy city, has also vowed to throw his full support behind one of his alderman’s – Proco Moreno – who has filed injunctions to actually halt the current construction of a new
Chick-fil-A restaurant in his district, breaking every rule in the book in regards to reprisal of government against private business.
“If you are discriminating against a segment of the community, I don’t want you in the First Ward,” Moreno told the Tribune.
Mr. Moreno do you realize that you are “discriminating against a segment of the community” – namely people who ARE currently involved in traditional marriages? Do they not count? Should they also be deprived of Chick-Fil-A because another group got their feelings hurt? Since when is it your job to police the opinions of the private sectors business owners and take sides? You’re an idiot!
Mr. “Rhaaaam” – lol. Oh my God I can’t stop laughing. YOUR CITY RANKS NUMBER FUCKING ONE IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY IN VIOLENT HOMICIDE FOR THE YEAR OF 2012 !!!!! Sir! – And you’re going to lecture a successful Christian business owner on VALUES?? Psssssssst, Rham. You’re undermining your own economy – you’re destroying vital jobs which many people depend on to make ends meet. You, dear RHAAAM, are an asshole and I’m sick of seeing your droopy face on my TV gushing your nonsensical RADICAL, liberal ideals and morals bullshit from atop your throne from the most disgusting, corrupted, filthy city on the face the earth. New York city houses FIVE MILLION more people than Chicago, and has 100 less murders, to date, just for 2012, than your “gangster paradise.” Values, “RHAAAAM”? – really? preposterous! Absolutely … unfathomable – these liberals and their higher roads and their love of everything radical, and extreme, and abnormal; there I said it. I don’t own a restaurant and if I did, I wouldn’t THINK of setting one up in Chicago, Illinois. The place is a dump and it’s weak ass little Obama puppet mayor is one reason why violence there is escalating out of control.
All this moved Mike Huckabee to declare August 1 Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day. His call to action, which he posted on Facebook last week, garnered such a response that it tripped the site’s spam filters, and the page was taken down briefly on Tuesday. Meanwhile, across town, Rick Santorum rallied his 200,000 Twitter followers by tweeting “With two of my boys, Enjoying chick-in-strips and an awesome peach shake at Chick-fil-A. See you here next Wednesday!”
Yes Rick, you will. If I have to drive an hour to get there and stand in line for another hour … you will see me, and anyone else who’s interested in smacking the piss right out of these little panty wearing, leftist bullies, at any Chick-Fil-A on Wednesday August 1st.
Let’s give Obama something else to worry about. It’s time for the conservative network to once again awaken and remind these hooligans exactly who runs the economy in this country and where those economy supporters stand on gay marriage.
