Bill Clinton: End ‘Stand Your Ground

As if 8 years wasn’t enough, Bill Clinton has now thrown his worn out opinion into the ring over the shooting of Trayvon Martin by calling for a reappraisal of Florida‘s controversial “stand your ground” law. This from the same Bill Clinton that suggested we have a “Ministry of Truth” to rule supreme over the internet, re-writing history and most likely his botched up affair of a presidency.

The former US president and current liberal antagonist said the death of the teenager at the hands of a neighborhood watch leader was an “incredible personal tragedy” that resulted from “a breathtaking expansion” of America‘s concealed weapons laws over the last decade and a half.

“It’s going to be almost impossible to prove what was in someone’s mind when a certain thing happened. The law is going to create real problems because anyone can basically be a part of a neighborhood watch where they have a concealed weapon, whether they had proper law enforcement training or not, and whether they’ve had any experience in conflict situations with people or not. People have always had a right to have a handgun in their home, to protect their homes, then we’ve seen this breathtaking expansion of concealed weapons laws. I hope this will lead to a reappraisal of the ‘stand your ground’ laws, that the truth will come out and that the tragedy of this young man’s loss will not be in vain.”

It’s bad enough we have to deal with one president inciting more violence,  now this guy. It’s deplorable that Obama, Sharpton and now Clinton are using this young mans death as a means of furthering their liberalized, socialist agendas.
